Like a bright bolt of Lightning is the title of the first album. And it’s that bolt that hits you with full force realizing what lies beneath the surface of a human being. It could be something small beginning with a wake up in the morning and the powerful feeling to do something special or to change some bad habits as well as to make some place a better one... Maybe it’s the bolt of death hitting you badly. The feeling of being an isolated individual connected to the world only by making sounds to express yourself. What if there is no such thing as speech or music?
And the lightning comes in many ways...
Like a bright bolt of lightning is an album about losses. The song is about death and the awareness of being a small piece of nothing in this universe. But this nothing can be hit by lightning. It’s like a sniper located on moon shoots a rabbit in the thicket way down to earth. For this is a question about fate and chance. Some kind of divinity as you may call it.
Deep it sleeps broaches the issue of erupting evil. The song is inspired by the genocide in Rwanda in the 1990th. It’s also a bolt of lightning that turns people into beasts and monsters. No horror movie can ever compete with whatever men are able to do...
It makes you feel frightened to detect what men really are... And sometimes it only needs a small spark and the whole shithouse is getting on its knees.
But there’s also love as bright as only lightning can be... it many ways. A bolt that comes with satisfying fruition or a bolt that turns out to be a bad one as well.
